Jonas graduated in direction at the National Film School of Denmark, 1995. He has studied film in London and New York, specializing in improvisation. His first feature film debut was the awardwinning critical success "Let's Get Lost". The film is today an icon among the new wave of Danish films.

Since then Jonas has directed music videos, numerous commercials and not the least the box office hit "New in town" starring René Zellweger.
